Candle Packaging
"Memphis Bliss"
This was a part of a larger project for a previous college assignment. The entire point of the project was to explore the realm of product branding and design,. Thus, we were to ultimately come up with my own ideas for a product. My product of choice was home candles. The reason behind this choice was because candles have always been and always will be in demand for home scents. So, what better way to freshen up your home? The theme for this packaging design was Spring, "Easy like Sunday Morning". For starters on a color palette, I decided to keep the colors "cool with a touch of warm". Like early Spring in Memphis, the days start cool, but warm up as the day progresses. I went along with a floral pattern in order to execute the idea of Spring. Finally, to give the packaging a more "Down South" home feel, I decided to enclose the packaging with nature twine fiber rope, which compliments the rustic-home vibe, to top for the finale.
